URGENT: Al-Iraqiya Coalition says agreement with State of Law to activate Arbil Agreement

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Al-Iraqiya Coalition, led by Iyad Allawi, has reached an agreement with the State of Law Coalition, led by Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, to settle their suspended issues, reiterating that the agreement included the activation of the Arbil Agreement and the National Council for Strategic Policies (NCSP), al-Iraqiya Spokesman, Shakir Kattab said on Thursday. “A meeting was held two days ago in the residence of Deputy Prime Minister, Roz Nouri Shawes, attended by al-Iraqiya and the State of Law Coalitions, in which it was agreed to activate the Arbil Agreement and the NCSP,” Kattab told Aswat al-Iraq news agency, adding that “The NCSP would be discussed by the Parliament for voting to appoint Iyad Allawi as its Chairman.” The President of North Iraq’s Kurdistan Region, Massoud Barzani, had announced an initiative on 16/9/2010 to settle the political crisis, including the formation of an 8-12 member committee, representing different political blocs, to begin talks to settle their suspended differences and the discussion of the formation of the government of national-partnership, as well as the issue of the Three Presidencies. “We consider this agreement as a great success and a new beginning for other agreements between both sides,” Kattab said, adding that “al-Iraqiya Coalition is optimistic towards the agreement and does not fear further delays by the State of Law Coalition,” pointing out that “any closer relations and understanding between al-Iraqiya and the State of Law, does not mean the margining or the isolation of the Sadrist Trend or an other active force in the political process.” Differences have taken place between al-Iraqiya and the National Coalition about some of the items of the Arbil Agreement, including the NCSP and the mechanism of selecting its Chairman by the Parliament, with al-Iraqiya demanding its formation and the personality of the man, who would lead it and his authorities. My best opinion is .86 cents to the euro, I suggest in having lowers for  an insurance policy,

Prime Minister, Nouri Al Maliki, announced that the Iraqi government agreed with the South Koreans to implement projects in Iraq on the on credit payment

Baghdad (NINA) – Prime Minister, Nouri Al Maliki, announced that the Iraqi government agreed with the South Koreans to implement projects in Iraq on the on credit payment.

In a press conference before departing to South Korea, Maliki said “heading to Korea today with a ministerial delegation of ministries specialized in services is part of efforts exerted by the government in this direction. We will hold talks and visits on preliminary issues to discuss comprehensive agreements in services and construction.”

“The agreement includes projects in transportation, housing, health, education, higher education, electricity, and other domains. The contracts to be signed will be paid on the on credit payment system because Iraq’s oil and gas income are increasing now, a thing that gives Iraq credit in international markets and companies looking for investments opportunities,” he declared.

He referred that “Iraq is the best country in investment domain; we want to benefit from the Korean experiment as it is an industrial country. We want to use the Koreans’ expertise in building the state.” /End/

Iraq: 6 new laws passed we are moving foward!!!!!

House of Representatives voted at its eighth ordinary session, which was chaired by Osama al-Chairman of the Board of Deputies and the presence of 179 deputies Wednesday to amend the investment law, the liquidation of

crude oil in addition to ending the first reading of the six laws.
At the beginning of the meeting the Council voted on the draft law of the First Amendment on the Law of private investment in crude oil refining No. 64 of 2007, which aims to encourage Iraqi private sector and foreign investment in the activity of the liquidation of crude oil in Iraq by increasing the discount rate given the price of crude oil supplier to the investing company.

The Council ended the first reading of six draft laws are the law of the media and communications, which comes for the purpose of organizing work in the communications media and the preparation controls the main broadcast media and adopted in the granting of licenses for frequency and transmission services and transmission services and wireless communication at the national level and access to network services and connectivity between them and the organization of the frequency spectrum and wireless devices wireless and terminal equipment for telecommunications and the protection of beneficiaries and the information and develop standards for the media. 

By the Council last discussed the proposed Rules of Procedure of the House of Representatives, where focused interventions, Ladies and Gentlemen of Representatives on the need for some clarifications and amendments to the texts of the rules of procedure

sure it can, how many times have we heard maliki say or give a promise

I mean that’s all we have been hearing from Iraq since I got into it three years ago

They say one thing and do something else on a daily bases, you have to understand the mid east mind set they have no problems promising something then waking up in a dif world the very next day .

This is why I am trying to steer people into the right direction, actions , body language, policy

We are watching policy, and following the money which is a complete opposite from the statement on the Dinar being equal to the turkish currency

I have been following your chats on DD and I learned a lot from you.  I have diners that in my possession since 2003.  I have a question; maybe you could give me an advice.... Half of my Dinar is in Sweden and half is with me here in NYC.  For tax purposes, in the event it revalues, should I encase the Dinar here in USA?

As an American citizen you should,  and then get a tax Attorney to help you with all your needs, you will be surprised how well a  CPA and or tax Attorney can represent you, please by all means don’t avoid any taxes your going to be blessed and you don’t need to be in the attitude to skimp on taxes when the times comes

Amazing to see all the wealth and the companies trying to get into Iraq

It is amazing to see all the wealth and the companies trying to get into Iraq to set up shop, and on the other end we have people saying this investment is fraud, how can it be fraud? I have already doubled my money I have physical Dinar and can trade it in anytime I want, I have gained double my value.    

Doubters need to get off the band wagon, the Dinar is going to revalue and Iraq will be opened to the international community, question is do you have enough foresight to take advantage of this opportunity.     

Iraq Oil record broken

Oil Ministry announced that Iraqi oil revenues for the month of March, a record since 2003 override seven billion dollars.

According to figures published by the ministry on its website, Iraq was 66.9 million barrels of crude oil in March earned him the revenues of 7.167 billion dollars at 107.31 dollars per barrel.

This is the highest monthly revenue that is recorded since 2003.

And return to the previous record in January 6280 where revenues reached billions of dollars.

Parliament discusses Bill Tuesday that US troops withdraw from the country

Parliamentary sources said Sunday, the Iraqi Council of representatives during its 57th will discuss on Tuesday the first reading of the draft law on withdrawal of foreign forces in the security agreement signed between the Government of Iraq and the United States and the salaries of Deputies and the President and the first reading of a number of other laws.

The source said in an interview the cuneiform for "news", "the deputies will discuss at its 57th to be held at 10.30 a.m. on Tuesday, the draft law on withdrawal of foreign forces from Iraq under the security agreement signed between the Government of Iraq and the United States", stating that "the meeting will be also the first reading of the proposed law on salaries of Deputies and the President of the Republic".

The source said on condition of anonymity, said the meeting also will see, the first reading of Amnesty Law No. (19) for the year 2008 and the first reading of the draft law on the accession of the Republic of Iraq to the United Nations Convention on the rights of persons with disabilities, and reading the report of the investigative Committee on Mosul, report claims General veterinary contractors company, "adding that" the meeting will discuss the subject of non-degree career launch UNHCR staff.

Iraq uses Monetary Fund debts, to close the file commercial Debts

He pointed out that Iraq will continue to pay off the debts of businesses and businessmen, according to the procedures of international standards.

The paper reported that the Central Bank of Iraq said on the sixth of March (March) last Baghdad that followed the high-level policies in the payment of debt economic implications, did not face legal problems.

so The End goal in to have more value in the Dinar and less paper

 Historically relevant for us is the fact that the Dinar use to be allot higher then it is now $3

And they had about 30 billion Dinar notes printed that represented its value when it was at this rate

now mind you this is before the dif types of currency in Iraq started to get printed and you will understand this in a min when I quote the retired Brigadier General who was tasked on exchanging the Dinar for the NID the notes we hold now

People in the past have argued over the rate and inflation and all that garbage here is a quote from the Brigadier general who actually exchanged the currency out talking about the Rates and why  

“I lead the currency exchange program in Iraq. I was stationed in

Iraq from September 2003 to January 2004. The currency exchange program ran from October 15 2003 to January 15 2004.

Currency exchange was necessary for five reasons;

(1) Two currencies were in circulation, the old Swiss Dinar in the north and the Saddam Dinar in the Rest of the country;

 (2) Inadequate numbers of denominations existed, the Swiss

Dinar came in 3 denominations

 and the Saddam came in only two denominations;

(3) The currency was poorly made and easily counterfeited;

 (4) The Saddam Dinar had been devalued and the public had little trust in it;

(5) The presence of Saddam On the currency was inappropriate.

But, in the great majority of the country, they had the Saddam Dinar with Saddam's face on it.

There were basically only two denominations of that: there was a 10,000-dinar

Note, which was worth about $5, and there was a 250-dinar note, which was worth about 12.5 cents, 12 cents.

The reason its value had dropped so low was because of Saddam’s Inflationary monetary policy. In comparison, back in the '80s, before the Saddam Dinar came about, the rate of exchange was about $3 to one Dinar.

But because of Saddam

There was now a total upside-down situation where one dollar was worth about 2,300 Dinar. ”

Here is another quote 

" Now, with the new dinar, we have six denominations for the people. I understand that they're going to reestablish some coinage and perhaps two additional denominations, giving them a total of eight denominations plus coinage to continue progressing the currency situation.

But, of course, my team and I, we dealt in the six new denominations.

The cost to produce the currency was approximately six cents per note,

End up being a 200 million dollar operation

All of the currency was produced outside of Iraq, in Kenya, Sri Lanka, Malta, Germany, Great Britain, and Spain. These various printers produced the currency under De La Rue. They were provided plates and a mission to perform a certain portion of the currency. All of the currency was then taken into England and flown into Baghdad from Manston" .

So now we have back ground wise, the Brigadier General in charge

*Stating why they changed the currency

*How much the rates were in what time frames

*And how much the operations cost.

*Where the currency was printed.
